Over the last 10 years Ken has researched and published three best selling books on gardens and gardening in Scotland, Garden Plants for Scotland, Fruit and Vegetables in Scotland and his guide to 500 Scottish gardens Scotland for Gardeners. Ken’s talk will feature four centuries of Scotland’s greatest gardeners including William Bruce, the MacKenzies of Inverewe, Robert Lorimer, George Forrest, Ian Hamilton Finlay and Charles Jencks as well as Ken’s own family story.
